Francois (Cois) Van Rooyen

Professional Hunter & Guide I am 27 years old I Have been a Professional hunter for 8 years now and have experience in big game hunting and plains game hunting. Did my PH course in the Eastern Cape. Hunting was my first love as I young boy and still is. For me, hunting isn’t just about hunting animals but learning each day something new about nature. To be a PH is by far the best job under the sun, meeting new clients that become lifetime friends is something that makes the job extra special for us. There is no more joy to see the big smile on clients’ faces after the experience of hunting the trophy of a lifetime, and going home as a friend with lots of memories to share with family and friends. Adding to the conserving of wild life and protecting the rights of the hunter. I have been hunting as a young boy starting from the age of 6 years. Love for Nature and hunting is something I grow up with and love so much.

Phillip Jansen Van Vuuren

Professional Hunter & Guide Growing up in a family where hunting, nature and my fathers’ gun shop were part of our DNA, I decided to pursue my passion in 2006 and did my PH course in Kwazulu Natal with the late Ian Goss. There is nothing more rewarding than being part of the bigger picture of conservation and making a difference in our beautiful country. To share the entire hunting experience with a client is amazing and food for the soul. (“The hunter that travels out into the Woods is lost to the world yet finds himself”. – anonymous). I am truly proud to be part of the Jannie Otto Team.

Conrad

Professional Hunter & Guide I started hunting with my father from a young age. I grew up on a farm and was thought all the values and appreciation for animals, nature and hunting. Since a young age all I wanted to do was hunt and be surrounded by nature. After school I attended university and also started my career as a professional hunter. Since then I have only been hunting full time. As a professional hunter I feel that I have never worked a day because I just love it and cannot get enough.
